grew up in Boston, lived in upstate New York, Northern Minnesota, Vermont, Philadelphia, Pa. Moved up to Canada in '91, first to Toronto then to Quebec, where he now lives with his francophone wife and three children. Border Mongrel has shed some of his U.S. coat over the past years, and has had Canadian fur grow in its place. As for his tail, he no longer knows whether its American and his muzzle is Canadian or visa-versa, only that he continues to chase it. Despite typing with paws, Border Mongrel has received a National Magazine Award for his writing.
